English-speaking clients

What you actually need to know before starting

The workshop is in Eymet, in the Dordogne. Below is what English-speaking clients ask us before anything else — the language of the job, the paperwork, and how long things really take.

Practical matters

The questions that come up first

Which language, when

Meetings, quotes, invoices and support in English. The French side of any bilingual website is written by a French speaker, not run through a translator — a French visitor spots the difference immediately.

Invoicing and VAT

You receive a French invoice with TVA at the applicable rate. If you're a registered business with a valid VAT number, it appears on the invoice and works normally for your accounts.

Sign permissions

Most communes require a prior declaration for a shop sign, and rules are stricter in protected centres — Eymet and the bastide towns included. We tell you what's needed and supply the drawings for the file.

Realistic timescales

Three to six weeks for a website, a few days for printing, a day for vehicle graphics. August and the run-up to the season are busy — plan a sign for the summer in spring, not in June.

Where we work

Four areas, same responsiveness

Eymet and around

The workshop is here. A long-settled English-speaking community, a weekly market that draws the whole area, and a protected centre with its own signage rules. We know the constraints because we work with them every week.

  • Sainte-Innocente

Bergerac and the valley

Twenty-five minutes away, with the airport and its direct UK flights. We work with shops, restaurants and businesses across the basin.

  • Bergerac
  • Monbazillac
  • Gardonne
  • La Force

The bastide towns

Monpazier, Villeréal, Beaumont. Heavily seasonal: signage and online presence carry a disproportionate weight on the summer. Bilingual sites and welcome material for gîtes and restaurants.

Lot-et-Garonne & Gironde

The departmental border is a few kilometres away. We work regularly towards Marmande, Duras, Miramont and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, on the same terms.

Not on the list? Call anyway — beyond this radius we look case by case, and a web project has no distance constraint at all.

Somewhere in the area?

A phone call, a visit to the workshop or we come to you. We look at your situation and tell you honestly what's worth doing.
